When you first started this my thought was that there was no way it could ever be resurrected into much more than a work boat. The PO's work was not good. Then you started doing really good stuff on the structural side. Now it has become a work of art - even in it's unfinished state. What I am seeing is on par with the upper echelon of professional work; extremely well thought out and executed. I don't have any idea if you do this for a living or not, but your skills are amazing. And now I see you are still holding out on us - sitting next to this gem is what I think to be the chine line of a 20 Bertram.
Spill the beans please.

Trust me, i wanted to do a workboat finish from the rubrail in! Im in on this boat with a buddy of mine actually, who somehow talked me into finishing it nice inside. Thanks for the compliments!

Yes that is a Bert, but its a 25... Some friends of mine are making a twin outboard CC out of it. Im mostly just the coach on that project. Ill snap some pics if you want

Your buddy is a lucky dude with you as a partner.
A twin OB 25 Bert CC would be pretty special. 10' beam and 25 degrees of deadrise that actually sits right on the lines with the light OBs. Check out Marshtakie's twin OB 25 Bert somewhere on here. I made the mistake of having too much motor in my 20 Bert (300HP I/O) - handled awful at idle but it was real fun when I cranked it up.

Quality boat porn is always good. The older I get the more I enjoy and can learn from other people's work.

Dirtwheelsfl is a craftsman

Bushwacker and I visited dirtwheelsfl tonight and examined his restoration. He is a very talented and knowledgeable craftsmsn. Beautiful workmanship! Also a nice guy. Small world, my kids knew his cousins in high school.

I was gonna go with seafoam on my rebuild but since dirtwheels and topflite both beat me to it I would just look like a trendy poser. Guess I will have to go with Fighting lady yellow or flag blue. Dirt your build is inspirational and I am stealing your splashwell layout idea.

Good talking to you Terry and Denny!

Leland its actually a custom blend from a sherwin williams color called "waterfall". Its between aquqamist and seafoam, shows lighter in the sun. Fiberglass Florida in stuart has the formula if you want it.

This is it on my old aquasport
