Bonefish,
Get Down! I am most impressed. How is the 300 working out? What pitch prop are you running? Performance numbers? Your work will not go unrewarded... http://i223.photobucket.com/albums/d...25/3bigger.jpg |
Re: A New Boat to Check Out
Bonefish......how much did you raise the new floor???
That is one amazing boat.......!!!!!!!!! |
Re: A New Boat to Check Out
The floor was raised about 2". The boat is about finished now and I'll post pictures, but here are some progress pics to catch up.
Console is now being completed. The plates have been welded into the proper position to accept the hard top. http://i57.photobucket.com/albums/g2...nes/csc190.jpg http://i57.photobucket.com/albums/g2...nes/csc187.jpg http://i57.photobucket.com/albums/g2...nes/csc189.jpg Battery box and inside of the console. http://i57.photobucket.com/albums/g2...nes/csc191.jpg http://i57.photobucket.com/albums/g2...nes/csc192.jpg http://i57.photobucket.com/albums/g2...nes/csc193.jpg This is cool: wires from the black box VHF and stereo travel through the back of the drawer box and into the top drawer. The microphone for the VHF and my ipod can be put in the top drawer. http://i57.photobucket.com/albums/g2...nes/csc194.jpg http://i57.photobucket.com/albums/g2...nes/csc188.jpg Battery charger, fresh water pump, and the actuator for the roll-up dash. http://i57.photobucket.com/albums/g2...nes/csc198.jpg Finishing the wiring for the breaker box. http://i57.photobucket.com/albums/g2...nes/csc199.jpg |

Re: A New Boat to Check Out
this is one of the best rebuilds I have seen in a long time with some unbeleivable craftsman ship in wood working. keep up the good work. make sure all those wires and hoses are neat and tight inside that console you want to keep here pretty inside and out!! is the 110 volt plug for the ram or something else?

Re: A New Boat to Check Out
Do you want to sell it when your done and if so how much? :D Just kidding of course... That boat is awesome Bob. We are looking forward to your final barrage of pictures but make them bigger please!

Re: A New Boat to Check Out
The 110v plug underneath the console was placed so that I didn't have to hard wire the battery charger. It is wired to an external plug in that is located under the gunwale, so that it is hot when plugged into an external source.
Here are some progress pics of the top that I forgot in my last post. It was painted, pre-wired, and then placed. http://i57.photobucket.com/albums/g2...nes/csc195.jpg http://i57.photobucket.com/albums/g2...nes/csc196.jpg http://i57.photobucket.com/albums/g2...nes/csc201.jpg http://i57.photobucket.com/albums/g2...nes/csc202.jpg Almost there! |
