Outboard is back on after a 4 year hiatus. http://www.classicseacraft.com/commu...pictureid=3317

Yes I know I need to pressure wash the midsection and get a new skeg welded on the lower unit.

Pulled the boat into the front yard and scrubbed it. Had more than 1 person give thumbs up. And the guy across the street walked over and gawked a bit. It's a "good from far far from good" finish on the boat.http://www.classicseacraft.com/commu...pictureid=3322

Good from far, but far from good makes me think of the famous tennis player's (I forget who now) reply when asked what he thought about some famous actress (I forget who again). He called her a 9 iron. The interviewer was confused and asked for an explanation. The guy says 9 iron, looks good from about 150 yards away. Hahahaha

Dunked the Seacraft in the lake to check my scuppers level. First pic shows them about 2.5" above waterline. I am Waiting on a new impeller and then the motor should be good to test on. Still need to get the Bimini top, some reg. Numbers, a little bit of sea dek knockoff and rubrail.
