okay back at it .. peeled all the core material off the center deck boards and ground down. going to replace with foam core.... added a few more pieces of foam core around the gunnel cap for the rub rail. and prepped and coated the twin bracket..last coat for bracket went on tonight..

here is how I removed the core material, I just cut around the edge with my 4' dimond blade. and then peeled the skin off

after clean up I wet out a layer of 1.5 oz matt

I gave them a quick sand down today. and had the bright idea to try the RESIN INFUSION TECNEQUE Well it sounded good. Trying to elimated a couple steps... I did not have the proper equipment . other than a vacuum pump.. so here it is
