Razor knife and straightedge oughta be able to make the cuts, just have to figure out how to get consistent depth.

Have you tried the blade? Looks like it got mixed reviews.

Nice looking work.

I'm glassing everything to everything. No one will be able to say I didn't make the boat stronger.

The anchor bulkhead will be glassed to the cap as well as the layer of glass on the hull side coring.

This was what I tried first and it was surprising how little it did for the flexibility. The foam wanted to break instead of bend. I think the width of the saw kerf helps give the foam more flexibility, it just means I'll have to fill the gaps. I epoxied three panels last night and they worked well.

Yea no biggie, gotta be filled anyway. I wouldnt think shipping on the scored stuff would be that bad? they can roll it up like a burrito and get it pretty compact, and its only 32” wide.

Some progress pics. Seats have been ordered so I'll be finalizing the seat benches once they arrive. I'm going with pill shaped scuppers that will be flush with the bottom of each side hatch gutter, if I need to plug them I'll have to make a custom plug. The scuppers will have the exterior clam shell like dirt and kmoose. The center hatch mold has been made and hopefully it gets glassed this week. I also decided to stop the hull coring at the bench seats, figuring that most of the wave impacts happen from that point forward. I also was going to have issues with hinge clearance with the side hatches.

Was able to get one gutter for the scupper roughly dry fit this weekend.

The deck is now glassed(mostly). I still need to clean up around the hatches and tab them in. The cardboard piece at the scupper will be the scupper hole, which I'll cut once I get the scupper gutter piece epoxied and glassed in. I've been doing a bunch of final mock ups for the helm/cockpit area... and I may rebuild the cuddy piece, we'll see. I'm not totally happy with how it's working, and what's a extra week or two of work at this point. I got one more hatch lid glassed, too.
