I just measured one of them their pennies and them things are ¾” tall. That’s a lot of glass.

I understand you reasoning, but I would have never done that and taken point's off the boat at resale for not doing it.

It's just to easy to do and the protection is well worth it.

Deck - hatch work... pics
 
Started working on the new deck piece. Recessed lip for the (Warthog suggested) Armstrong hatch. I think it’s going to work out well... Also building a lip for the hatch that covers the back of the tank to rest on…

Finally got the transom in..
 
Took Thursday and Friday off work this past week to get the transom in..

Went pretty well... still gotta lay up the glass on the inside.
