Season is open til 12/3, so not out of season. They're usually closer to shore in the fall and winter, right? I'm just confused by your statement, not unusual for me... Regardless, my reservations at the Ramada are made. We'll be arriving Friday, hopefully by late morning. Sorry for asking if it's already been posted, but where's the closest ramp to the motel? Closest I could find was Anclote River Park. |

I have not signed up yet, just my lack of administration prowess. Any rooms with a block and tackle, a swivel, and shore power? |

OK....
We check-in to Apu Hilton on Friday...... What next??? Hang out at Anclote?, Go to Tarpon Springs and dive for carwash sponges?, Maybe hang-out for the Continental breakfast in the AM on Saturday?......... There needs to be some kind of timeline before I commit... |

I guess we need to find out what we can and can't do at the motel. You know, do we HAVE to eat in the motel's restaurant?, can we have a fish fry at the dock?, those kind of things. Normally we pretty much cook like crazy and "pig out" on Saturday! Don't want to mess that up.

I'd forgotten how delicate you are. :D How's this: Friday -Early arrivals meet up at Anclote and hang at the beach. Cook supper out on the beach or boats, followed by cocktail hour back at the No-tell Motel. Saturday - Fishing or diving until mid afternoon. Those who wish to abstain can shop. Then back to the Ramada for showers followed by waterfront dining at a location TBD. Sunday - Continental breakfast, then pack and check out. For those with a short drive home, cruise on the intracoastal or rendezvous at Anclote again before hitting the road. If someone who knows the area better than me (and that would be almost anyone) wants to offer a different itinerary, my feelings won't be hurt. Dave |
