Metan has little, if anything, on you my friend. Very nice work!

Strick,
How did you know where the new waterline and final scupper placement was on this restore? I assume it would be different with bracket and outboard. Did you float it with new power installed?

Beautiful work!

Thanks John and welcome to CSC. I am measuring off the deck and dropping it down maybe an inch or so. If you think about it at this point there is little I can do about how I place them. They have to go where they have to go and that is strait off the deck and out the transom. Hopefully they will be above water when I splash it!

Thanks for the welcome, really appreciate the sharing on this site by you and many others. Decided to take on a project of my own and wouldn't have considered it without the massive amount of information here. Not to hijack, but here's my "new" purchase. After years of neglect. Transom redo and a Hermco bracket down the line.

Thanks again
John

Top Notch Strick!

Beastley, did you pick it up from a guy named Bruce in Egg Harbor Twp. Nj?

As always, lovely work, Dr. Chuck. Can't wait to see this one splash.

Ahh ha the elusive Overnighter! Hermco knows how to put a bracket on that one for sure!

Cool boat! Good luck and post lots of pictures.

Thanks for all the kind words fellas. Been working on the boat late into the evenings. It's a mess, the shops a mess, I'm a mess, but it's getting closer. I went to Svendsons today and got a few more things.... mostly hardware and rigging stuff. Gas tank is going in soon then I will paint and non skid the deck and then it's bolt the engine on time and well see how she floats!
