As I've heard before from a guy here in the keys that spends more time in the water than anyone I know,A 23 Seacraft is the best single engine cc ever built.This guy has had 4 diferent Seacrafts.I like twins myself but like Fellowship said a single 250 is more than enough.Now, HPDI,Etec or Four stroke? Keep posting your thoughts.

My money was, and still is on the 'Rude Ficht, 225. I continue to be impressed by this engine.

It is very very clean burning.

It is excellent on fuel (I can feel it in my wallet)

The power out of the hole is excellent and it pushes my heavy 23 with 100+ gallons of fuel at 30kts with no complaints.

I am a very happy customer. Going to Nantucket with it today :-)

That's great, good luck with the Suzi, that will be a super engine for you. I did the same thing, I asked everyone I ran into about their engine and how they liked them. The Suzi owners loved them! And man, are they quiet! I almost bought a 20 foot Maritime skiff with a Suzi on the back but found my 23 and couldn't be happier.

Are you bass fishing starting on the 6th? (Hopefully right?!)

Hopper, what year is your ficth? Is it on a bracket or on the transom?

Hi RS-

I have a 2003 with a 25" shaft sitting on a notched transom. I would love to put one of the SeaMark brackets by Potter on it some day, then come and fish the Keys with it!
