On my '71 20 the scuppers go straight through the
bottom of the boat ( 3") Anybody have a improvement for this setup?

Hammer,you would have to plug the thru the hull holes and go thru the transom,then install the rabud scuppers.

Jackfish,Hammer Rabud scuppers is your answer, NO MORE WATER COMES IN, they work great.
