HI,
Iam new in to the site. It is great. Allways have been a fan of Seacraft boats.
Just installed a Honda 130 in my 20 FT CC. Still in the break-in process, but I love how quiet in the motor. I think that you should have the same satisfaction with the Suzuki.

Good luck !!!

Since I am probably going to buy a new SC 20 within the next year and will probably get the Honda 130 or the Optimax 135 the above posts are very informative. If anybody has one with the 135 or 150 Optimax please post the performance figures and let me know the pros and cons of your engine. The weight of the Honda concerns me and previous problems with earlier model Optimax concern me. Any info greatly appreciated.

Does anyone know the weight of a 20' with the 140 suzuki on the back? (or jut the weight of the 20' alone) My brother just picked one up and I am trying to find out for him for trailering reasons.

Thanks.

Those specs on hull weight should be available on the classicseacraft.com web site. There, for example, I learned that my 20' Seafari cuddy is 1,800 lbs dry without engine. You go from there...
