Scott is right on the mark... the Lemon Mist offered by Sterling is the closest to the original Potter era "yellow" gelcoat color. I know because I spent 3 months searching for a color that would be as close to the original as possible. After many test samples and mucho $$$, this was BY FAR the closest color match I found. I painted my 20 Sceptre in this color using Awlgrip paint - sprayed on. I then added the standard 1.5" inch wide single black boot stripe (3/4" above the chine edge) which was typically installed on yellow 20 footers back then. FYI: no one makes an 1.5" wide boot stripe vinyl tape, so I had my local sign shop fabricate and install it. Turned out perfect.
