Hermco,
When you get that thing done, if you have it in the shop for a week or so seatrialing, post up and let me know. I might take a drive down there to look at it. I don't think I have seen a bracket with 2 of those big pigs hung off from it. I would be real curious to see how that sits in the water at rest. I am in a love/hate relationship with the idea doing something similar on my boat, but I am afraid of screwing up something that is pretty decent to begin with.

D.H., remember old fiberglass itches like hell, and the most important, the beer to work load equation.

Just splashed the Mako with the twin Honda 4 strokes. Those motors are awesome! The owner wouldn't let me open it up (break in) and he just wanted to be on his way.He is going across to the Bahamas on Thurs so I didn't get to run it as much as I would have liked. It was rough so I could not gauge how the waterline had changed from before but it looked about the same as when it had a single transom mounted motor. When he gets back next week I am going to get some at rest in the water pics to post to my website. The customer was stoked and I am very pleased with the outcome.Hey Finster you have to drink the hard stuff when attacking old fiberglass!Beer just does not cut it.I break out the sawsall and a bottle of vodka and get down to business.

Hey HERMCO!
Does the twin engine bracket hold a single ok?

Re: Seamark Bracket

To do a single motor on a twin bracket you have to use a 30" shaft length motor. The brackets are set up to work with 25" shaft motors.I know of a 23' over on the west coast that has a twin bracket with a single 250 that worked fine.
