I would recommend 200' monel (sic) instead of stainless wire. Your depth spects are correct for large bunker spoons at working speed.

Just a little input. I got rid of my wire line stuff. In my opinion that tackle is just too heavy, although effective. I prefer lighter tackle and diving lures like the stretch 25's or 50's. The trade off I feel is worth it.

Scott - Shimano bought Loomis a few years ago and has changed their path ever since. Used to be that the custom rod builders and and rod building supply shops could work with you on prices for those blanks and you could get something good done. Sadly, Shimano pushes a LOT of price fixing and they've pushed that policy down to Loomis too. Now it's only a LOT harder to get Loomis blanks to build how you want but they are more expensive too and very few deals to be had...

I hate when that happens...

Scott, I check with Lamiglas on mon. if I remember. They may still have a few kicking around the factory.

Scott - which blank are you looking for?

Steve has a good selection of old blanks (although I swiped a few from him )

Mike Thomas @ M&D Bait and Tackle in Wareham has a good selection http://capecodtackle.com (most of his blanks are not listed on his webpage).

CMS in Dartmouth has some

Rodbuilders Workshop in Kingston

Redtop in Bourne

Which model is the sibling?
