Re: Man do we have snow!

My wife's turn to shovel but I'll do the 3' high mound from the plow passing by... The wind was coming right up the street from the bay cleaningother yards and dumping it into mine

For all you shivering in Florida, when it's 99 & 99 with no wind after the rains come thru and we're 82, dry & with a seabreze and bluebird skys, I'll be thinking how glad I am to be up here (until then - I'm insanely jealous...)

I just did the driveway with the snowblower for the second time and I'm sure that I will be doing it again tomorrow. The snow caved in the tarp and frame I had set up over the boat, didn't get to it in time A little more strapping and wire and it will be good as new. I'm really glad I got the snowblower last year, this years been a killer for snow.

BB, sorry about Sat's game - quite a story about Ben Gordon! Rev up those snowblower's fellas! Looks like you're in the midst of something enormous up there. Is everyone snowed in?

This has been 15 hours without a post from Finster - I'm thinking hiw power must be out (or he's tired from running next door for beer)...

MW - it's not too bad, shoveling 20 inches of snow usually screws up my back for a week but being south of Boston, my wife doesn't feel the need for a snow blower (she also gets to dig half the driveway). We also don't really get any big storms here. Twenty inches is a good snow but it's not a real big storm relative to say, Baltmoor.

Altanta stay all rain?

Thanks for sympathy MW, they better get their tails in gear they have some tough road games ahead 24 turnovers - ouch.Well I'm sitting here at work, wondering why - it's very quiet.I may get called into service picking up some nurses at the wife's hospital so they can relieve the day shift. Then I fire up the Ariens!
I've had enough of this !

Looks like only 15 or 16 inches here... Roads looks pretty clear too considering. Wouldn't need a 4WD for work today...

John-

I thought Rhody got whacked by the storm...only 16 inches??

Logan got 27.5, and i think I got about 25 in Brookline.

That's about it where I am - near the coast. It spent a few hours as almost sleet - the 25 knot stinging you think yer bleeding kind...

Brookline, eh? Used to live on the backside of Summit Hill - was there for the April fools storm. Cars trying to make it up the hill slid back down into my yard and if not for the big snow banks, into my car
