Jim
You will have to depend on "Float-On" to give you that info based on your VIN as the weight stamp was on a metal sticker on the side that I remember and those things never lasted too long...Sorry I can't give you more |
Re: Retrun from road trip
E,
Congrats . She is a beauty. You know it just takes some well thought planning, a lot of time and $ and she will be good as new. Sorry, I meant better than new I can see from the pix that she is a GREAT candidate for a resto. I have 'been there and done that', so if you need any advice, don't hesitate. Good luck !!! |
Re: Retrun from road trip
I have had nearly the same trailer as the one you are dealing with, albeit the single axle version. I personally think you should feel exceedingly fortunate that the thing has already fallen apart, as it prevents you from having to use it. This is obviously an inconvenience in the immediate future, but in the long run, you would likely be happy to have a different set-up.

Re: Retrun from road trip
I ordered a trailer from Nextrail. Delevery to be within a week right to the boat in Pennsylvania. 6,000# with SS disc brakes. 5yr on the brakes, liftime on the trailer. $2,635. So much for any chance of the Dania market.

Re: Retrun from road trip
EBEACH,
Make sure you bring a heavy duty Socket set with you when you make your trip out to PA. You will probably have to adjust the bunks. I made the mistake of not having enough tools when I picked up my boat. make sure you have deep well socket set. Good luck. |
Re: Retrun from road trip
I'm thinking of ordering a Nextrail and would be curious to find out how you like yours when you pick her up.
