And what if I mix the oil/gas in the tank? I need an expensive oil?

I made the switch to Amzoil synthetic a couple seasons ago. The engine seems to run a little cleaner and there's a-lot less carbon build up from Synthetic. Something about the parts running cooler and if my oil pumps dies, having better shot of saving the engine from a melt down makes me feel much better about the decision. I pay $20.00 a gallon, same as I was paying for Johnson/Evinrude oil.
