Good point, the weak link is definitely the point where I glassed and filleted the pvc to the thin wall innner hull, where the scupper fittings were originally. I still planned on reinforcing that, maybe I need to reinforce the snot out of it further.

metal fittings on the transom sound like a better idea, the pvc is not going to hold clamp pressure.

now where is my die grinder....?
