Thanks guys for the info on the props.

I'm still running the dinged aluminum 17", but a new prop is on the way. This weekend I fixed the external Trim and Tilt pump (so the motor stays up w/o a pin underway), the boat found some extra speed and hit 46.2 mph with two people and a kicker.

On my way to the Bar to visit Strick (thanks again Strick) . . . I passed by a few Marine Patrol boats underway taking a beating in the wind and current. Man I love this boat . . . especially over 35mph in the chop.

Got the new 14.5" 19 pitch Aluminum prop.
(Not going stainless until I learn my way around the Sacramento Delta)
48.5 mph with the motor trimmed up 5500rpm
Cruise at 3800 is 34 mph - 10 GPH
40 gallons fuel, 2 people + kicker.

45+ mph is scary in this boat . . .

When you're ready, I have a 17 degree stainless prop for that motor. I had it on my 150, but I was not making RPM's at WOT. The prop is probably perfect for that boat. It's either a vengence or mirage. Perfect condition.
