Furuno?

See my comment above about my Furuno 1610. A piece of junk for the money

I use the Lowrance LMS-240 for GPS. It is a dual console but the fishfinder kind of sucks. For a fish/depth finder I use a Humminbird Matrix series. I bought it for cheap money, and by far it is the best fishfinder I have ever owned. Both of them are not color, but they work for what I need them to do

It's interesting how

Humminbird seems to get tagged as a fresh-water machine quite often - anyways, after a couple of successful fishing outings now, I'm quite happy with the Matrix 17, and with the Garmin GPS.

For what it's worth, between my bro and I we have had Humminbirds last 20 years, including use in salt water.

If it ain't broke, don't need to fix it, an if it still works, keep runnin it.
