Chatham Sounds like a good place for a round up this summer. I am from chatham, living in boston now, but if anyone wants to take the ball and run with it, lets do this thing.

Trayder floated that idea out a few months ago but it didn't get far, probably because it was winter. Now that there are quite a few Chatham/outer Cape members on the site, it would be cool to have a gathering out that way. My brother has a place in Yarmouth, so I could stay fairly close by. I'm trying to work a trailer deal right now, so if that works out I'll bring my Seabird. If not, I can probably get my father to tow his 23 Sceptre down.

Then again, with our first baby in the house (3 weeks old now), I need to convince the wife to let me go...

I'm sure everybodys seacraft would look nice in front of the chatham bars inn. BTW they are also redoing the beach bar

Scott, there is a number of good resources available depending on the work needed. A good place to start would be with Paul at the Chatham boat company.

S.Y., The transom was done Fla. so no chance of brining it back down there. The area of blistering that I am referring to is small enough where it most likley would not bother most people (Im guessing). It just bugs me and I would like to 1. fix it, and 2. keep it from occurring in the future, which seems unlikley if there is any moisture in the transom. Does anyone know if it is common (certainly not desired) to have some h2o in the transom?
BTW, It would be great to do a round up. I think space would probably be at a premium in front of the CBI. Cresent beach inside of stage might be a lot less hassle?

Scott, A round up would be fun and great to exchange knowledge. What, in your opinion, is the best trailor for the 23?

Best trailer? I'm not going to pick a brand because there are a lot of good mfg's out there. But being in MA, I would go with rollers due to tidal change. If you tow a lot, get SS brakes and hardware. If you only use it for storage, personally I wouldn't spend a fortune on SS and just go with the base hardware.

Is Crescent Beach on your left/Morris Island side when leaving Stage Harbor?
