I went with the one with the gps built in the activation and gps fix work much faster than one without the gps.

We always joked when I ran the offshore boat for the state that if we went down and didn't make it to the raft we would all have black eyes when we were rescued. The crew would fight over who is going to hold the epirb because thats were the CG is coming base on the gps fix! :D
