as to securing the boat, mine is on the lift with those 3" yellow heavy-duty truckers rachet straps from lift, over boat, and back down to lift. Additional lines are tied from both bow and stern to cleats along the sea wall. Drain plug is pulled, boat as high as it will go in the lift....which still has the top of the t-top barely as high as the surrounding landscape. In order for any water to rise enough to touch the keel, it will need to blow a good bit harder than it did during Francis and Jeanne (133mph) and at that point the boat may be the least of my worries.

I guess what is left of Ernesto will be going through Stuart mid-morning tomorrow while I'll be at an elevation of nearly 10,000' fishing for rather small trout in Colorado :D

Mark, you have nothing to worry about...non event...but very, very good practice. wish I was trout fishing - enjoy!
