Hermit, I think I would have to agree with you. When those scuppers were capped closed I lost all self-bailing benefits. However, other than spilled beers and fish blood, I had never taken on water that I would have had to get to plane to dump. Hindsight, I guess I never actually knew this hull was self-bailing.

Hows the weather up there? Heard yesterday was Stellar on the ocean side. Word I'm getting is the bass have not yet migrated south, OR they went outside. Jersey and Montauk sound similar.

May have to take Miles Offshore's offer in December. Good Luck. Vezo.

I have those thru the bottom type on my 78 20' MA and I am considering switching to the thru the transom type. At least you can try those ping pong ball type covers on those.

Vezo, Still bass to be had but everyone focused on Tuna. Can you blame 'em. Beer and Blood in the bilge :D Classic
