On mine the swim deck is cabosiled to the flotation chamber. There is a 1 1/2" ledge built around the inside of the flotation chamber. There is also a 3 inch area on the top of the transom were the swim deck fits that gets cabosiled as well.

Hermco - I've got a new found appreciation for your work especially after screwing up the first layer of glass (not using enough catalyst). A small mistake like that set me back weeks.

I never got a weight on mine. It will always be a mystery. Maybe Tim will weigh his.

After some motivational coaching from strick . . . I got back on the horse again this weekend. Strick helped me build up the low spots and I got the first layer of mud on the outside. Here's a few updated pics of fairing work . . . So far I'd say it weights about 60lbs . . . that's just a guess. After I finish fairing I'd say it'll weigh close to 700 lbs. :D
