Ha Oz

I totally agree with you. There is something special about taking a old SeaCraft and restoring it yourself. If my boat was gone I know, I would strongly considerate doing another one this time better that how I did mine, but not everyone has the time, ability & desire to take on a Classic restoration project. I guess that’s why we truly are all a little Crazy here at this web sight matter of fact, I believe It Helps to be Crazy to make the commitment, do the work, and spend the $$$ and when it is all done say “that was a really good thing I did and am proud of it.”

I do service work for a Regulator dealer and I have owned a 23 Seacraft. I know there is probably about a $25K price difference between the two boats if rigged the same. I can give you some definite reasons for the price difference if you want. I have run both boats in heavy chop and although the Seacraft is a great boat, I don't think it can beat a Regulator. I would have to say it is a fact that Regs have a better fit and finish and are more solid, the look and ride can be debated. I have had both boats in the air, so I have done more than take a little cruise around the bay. Sorry if it sounds like I am bashing the Seacraft, I am not, and I would buy another 23 in a second.
