It was rolled on. I have had to repair just a little bit during the last 5 years along the center line close to the bow. On occasion on account of the angle of some ramps it will rub along the first axel of the trailer when I am splashing the boat it eventually removed the gel coat so I just bought a quart of the stuff and rolled it back on to that area and “Presto” fixed. Gel coat if more forgiving that a hi gloss paint finish on the bottom of a boat that gets trailered all the time.
