HMMM i'd be willing to do some experimenting and try it...I guess if it turns out bad there is not too much to sand and start over..Lets do it :D

You can do it!! I'd like to see it...Is the rest of the boat been redone?

Re: MIAMI AREA

no the rest of the boat is in pretty decent shape actaully. i know the transom has been rebuilt but i dont know how long ago and the same with the floor although the floor will need help sooner than i would have liked.. i cut the original console and made it more narrow and glassed it back together to make room on the deck for the t-top.

Re: MIAMI AREA

I was wondering how i was going to fit a t-top with wide console was thinking i would buy a new smaller console. was it cheaper cutting it?

Re: MIAMI AREA

ill tell u.. i took it apart back in november and between work and everything plus learning how to glass nicely its taken me this long... i did take a little while off here and there for lack of motivation. next time i dont think id do this again. i was lookin at consoles but they were alot of $$ so i took the cheaper longer route.

Hey, another Miami(Grove)Guy here,

I get down to Sands Cut occasionally, though I've lately been boating/fishing closer to home in North and Central Biscayne Bay. Avoiding the crowds on Friday afternoons is our favorite, sometimes we hit the Stiltsville or Vizcaya sandbars. Also trailer to the Keys a few times a year.
