Great way to start the season!
There is nothing wrong with catch & filet as long as the fish goes on your plate. I eat fresh striper twice a week in season and I highly doubt it puts a major impact on the stocks if recreational fisherman take a few home. Isn't this why we have regulations...? |

Being I work for NJ Fish and Wildlife and moderate this thread, the only thing I have to say is....Nice fish Stony! Get me a scale and I'll age it for you.
