Having spent a lot of time in SeaCraft 23's and owning a SeaCraft 20' I'll just say that they have little in common other than manufacturer. The 20's are easier to tow and use a lot less fuel but that's where the advantages end. The difference in draft is somewhere between negligible and nonexistent.

I have owned a 20' and now have a 23'. Buy an old truck and tow the 23'.
