That should do it! One note to consider...which you may have already...You are well on top of this project. If your hardware bolts, nuts, washers are stainless I would reccomend a graphite grease to isolate them from the aluminum, can cause galvanic corrosion.

Thanks for the tip on the corrosion.
I plan on assemlbling it with CorrosionX HD, and hitting them every 6 months. I have had great success with that product on my trailer and other applications.

WOW! That stuff looks great. An additional note...I always spray all metals/ hardware, hardtop frame Rods reels & trailer down with Corrosion X or Salt terminator.

I have been using Corrosion X - Heavy Duty for years, it's the only stuff I think works. We sell it on my ship store for 13.46 a 12 oz can. I have been fogging my motor with it 4 times a year, and it looks like the day it was made.

I'm with Chuck. Corrosion X is great for a film coat, but for SS hardware into aluminum, Tef-Gel is the stuff to use. I captained an aluminum boat for 9 years, nothing got bolted or screwed without it.

I get nylon washers at my local ACE hardware store. They have a good selection.

Im looking to add a bracket with platforms like you have done and was wondering what the cost was from armstrong.

Have you finished installing it and how is it performing now??
