Re: 1982 23' SeaCraft Sceptre
I will say my Sceptre was the first boat I had that was not a CC, man I loved that thing for trolling and bottom fishing, the windshield was really nice on long runs. Inshore not so good because of bow access but everything else including Gasparilla that thing was the bomb.

Re: 1982 23' SeaCraft Sceptre
I got a question for all the cc guys out there, i am a sceptre guy but i love any CSC hull. How many of you out there who have a center console that can say they never got too wet to a point where it is was miserable to fish? Because i think in a cc you are driving the boat further back and you always get that spray from a broad-side sea. This why i love my sceptre.

Re: 1982 23' SeaCraft Sceptre
If I get wet I just go faster to out run the spray :D

All Center consoles are wet. I dont care if its 20 feet or 35 feet. They have great fishability though.

Re: 1982 23' SeaCraft Sceptre
This is what i don't understand, i go out in my sceptre the wind kicks up 20-25 in the afternoon, so i come home set my tabs and just let the overspray come over my stern and i stay nice and dry with no foul weather gear on. But everyone wants a cc i don't get it. Like you say it must be the fishability. :)

Tabs do the same for center consoles.
