I remembered reading your post which prompted me to apply. Thanks You might get more takers on that form again if you still have it. I don’t have a blank one. FellowShip Just for the Grins :D "Official Antique Classic SeaCraft Owner" |
Re: My Classic is officially a Classic Now
I used ESD's form, took it directly to the courthouse when the registration was due and they did the registration renewal as an antique, I paid the small processing fee, only took a few minutes, it was easy. But I didn't get an antique sticker! Ken, know if there's a way I could get one now?

Hi 65Bowrider;
You could write to Department of Highway Safety and Motor Vehicles Bureau of Titles and Registrations Attention Neil Kirkman Building ,Room A334,MS #68 Tallahassee. Fl. 32399 Their phone # 850-617-2000 They would need your registration info to confirm and they should be able to help. . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . Re: My Classic is officially a Classic Now
Hi IslandTrader;
Yaw I got you on that part. Kind of subjective interpretation and decision. But now that America is inaugurating a Liberal Democrat in a few days You could look at it like this – My boat was powered by a outboard motor and I still have a outboard motor on her. Or My boat was powered by a gas combustion engine and it still is. That should pass the congress. . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . [QUOTE] i read that form and it says the engine needs to be the same year as the vessel. i guess there are exceptions to that ?? |
Re: My Classic is officially a Classic Now
Hi Blue197320;
Fuzzy details, fuzzy details as we all know here in the state of Florida the motor is not titled when you purchase a boat. SOOOOO if on my boat title it doesn’t say anything about a motor being a original part of the package purchase maybe it didn’t come with a motor and the original owner of my boat added one later, or maybe it never had a motor. If all boats came with the same motor or the motor was indicated on the ID # like cars then I would know. BUT the truth of the matter is no one knows and since no one knows and the form is not exact enough I sent in my Marine Survey which Did intricate what motor I have on the boat and they approved it. SOOOO if they said OK who am I to argue with their judgment. Test to Pass???? Or Test to Fail???? . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . .
