I have. Wood is beautiful. However over the years, I like it less on the outside and more on the inside.

No matter what you do...on a boat it is a labor of love.

That being said, I might put 2 little teak accent pieces on the 21 :D

PS upgrade your bio, then Tampa will show up on every post.

Bristol Finish is nice stuff, yet I find that AwlBright is easier to work with and doesn't have the tints Bristol has, but they both will last 16 mtns or more in the Fla sun, longer if you keep it under cover some. The only thing is, and this is important, you must build up with tradtional spar varnish first, or they will peel. Dash looks great, got enough varnish on my trawler, no varinsh on the SeaCraft, just the fore and aft staffs!
