Take your time. There are plenty of nice 20's out there and with the way the world is headed plenty of good deals to come. The one you posted for sale by the dealer has been on the market for close to a year, sounds like for a reason.

We have a guy thats right down the road, Mike at American Marine if you want somebody to go look at it with you. Just an FYI, yes he is a competitor but he won't have a dog in the fight and probably would work something out, as it won't be a survey.

I saw that one last week. 130hp though? Does that seem underpowered to anyone. That would be my only concern. Looks gorgeous otherwise.

You could look at this one, I would think a 130 would be fine, I have a 200 and it doesn't go any faster, weight on a 130 would be better. IMO. http://miami.craigslist.org/brw/boa/1066980049.html

I looked at the '77 master angler in Ft.Lauderdale too. By "new" gas tank he means it's about 10 - 15 years old, by transom "redone" I don't know what he means. I think someone might have poured some resin in it, but it still flexes. Never the less I made him what I thought was a generous offer of $2500 cash on the spot and he turned it down! In hindsight, I'm glad he didn't accept it.

My 68 20' SF has a 130 Yamaha, does fine but then it may be reletive to what you want. I wanted less weight on the back and a 130 was the largest 4 cyl at the time.

It goes more than fast enough for me but then a lot of our channels here are 25mph anyways
