Now that is a great name for that boat. However, I'd bet it would be an endless hassle from the "speech police" whose vocabulary is insufficient to warrant their self-anointed authority.

Hi,

My Bimini guy is coming today to redo my bimini like yours. Your advice made a lot of sense, thanks.

On water injestion/risers, mine are maybe 10 inches above the water line when the boat is light. Get 1500 lbs in it and a bunch of guys in the stern and I hate to think. You advised 13 inches, is that loaded or light? Is there any down side to adding 4 inch or even 6 inch riser extensions?

My engine is a 5.7 fuel injected. Do you know if the water injestion problems were as bad on the 5.7s as the big blocks?

I had a Ford, I didn't like it. My Duramax stock has more power than the Ford did with mods. FORD= Fix OR Repair Daily! :D Actually the older 7.3s were ok; you couldn't give me one of the 6.0s.

Ditto on that. My 2001 7.3L (work truck) has close to 260K on her and she still is going strong. I finally blew the trans this summer at 245K (original trans)..replaced it for $2800 and we are living happily ever after.

BTW your my hero on that Carolina Classic...I have always liked the looks of them.

Nice boat!! One of my top choices. I'm thinking of one now but its 1000 miles to trailer it. You trailered ,how far? Did you have to rent the trailer?

Thanks, I puchased a trailer out of Huston, TX. I trailered the boat 1,600 miles to it's home.

Due to the economy, Mack isn't building any/many boats. I heard they were doing refits and repairs. If you need some help, I think he would be happy to help out.
