Sweet Melissa,
The new cables pulled in easily with no lube. Far easier than the ducer cable. Cut the old ends off to facilitate the pull. Final adjustment tomorrow followed by an Easter fish.

Both cables had no #`s anywhere. Both also had small cracks in the casing by the crimped end at the motahhh.

Oh, I heard Theo is trying to get J. Geils to play at the Little Lyric Bandbox this Summah. If Duke And The Drivers are the opening act, I may have to have a phantom illness.

Tip `O Day. Thinking of runnin a bead of liquid electrical tape around the end of the crimp to help prevent intrusion.

Sandy, Glad you got your cables in. I'm not in a big hurry now 'cuz I'm going to redo the transom and that's gonna take a while ... regarding your rubber goop idea I wonder if isn't there a grommet there that resides in the cowling for that purpose?

You have a full plate indeed.

The end of the cable crimps are exposed beyond the grommet outside the lower cowl.

Had Honey Dews for breakfast....but splashed in the ski lake this afternoon. Very smooth. The old cables were 1/4" and the Xtremes are 3/8". I followed the manual for set up as Janet spun the prop. She now knows what a prop is and even what it does. Still working on the battery switch and starting procedure.
Cheers,
GFS
