10-4. If necessary, I'm going to make a collar to give me additional space for that.

Just got my 64cv. It fits like a glove with plenty of room for the connectors. Can't wait to try it out.

As an alternative, I mounted mine inside the hull (shooting through the bottom) and it works quite well for the purposes of depth finding, but is a bit off in temperature.

I was under the impression that a side scanning transducer cannot be mounted inboard and has to be mounted on the transom.

Hey Boo, is that a hitch hiker trailer?

Yes, and the frame was in very good condition when I sold it last year. Single axle. Running gear was tired and springs were way too heavy. Felt the need to upgrade. Sold the hitch hiker to an old salt in Ocracoke.

Ah, I was not focusing on the sidescan feature - not being a fisherman, I do not use that.

After some thought and discussion, I mounted my new transducer in the same location as I did the old one in the pic above. Planning on dipping her tomorrow after work. I'll let you know how it goes.

Does it have side view imaging ?

It's the CV23M-TM transducer, mid-range chirp and chirp clearvue. I don't think it has the side scan.
