Thanks for your help everyone. I think my search is going to continue. Beside the strange HIN, it had had to many mods over the years and would be a poor candidate to start a rebuild on.

Sorry for the misinformation on the Sceptre capacity plates.
As far as the HIN goes, read this web page to understand them. Some do have a letter at the end denoting the month built so I would not necessarily call it bogus. |

Does anyone else have a HIN that is formatted like the one 4x4 Blazer mentioned? I am considering a purchase of a 1975 23' SF and the HIN is formatted like this: SECF3123M75I (I replaced the real numbers with "123").
Is this is genuine Potter? How can I find out? Thanks |

I'm not an expert, but, I'm pretty sure it is a Potter. Maybe this will help.
