Re: Honest opinions wanted of the 20' CC ride
The prop will have alot to do with a following sea, you need to able to hold the bow up and its fine. A crappy prop like a Vengence or something will allow the bow to fall right into the wave - ie: a Stiletto or Mirage will hold it up - mine went from wet to very dry with a prop change

Re: Honest opinions wanted of the 20' CC ride
Tom, I think you got your answer.
To add my small experience. I fished (dove) a 20 ft seafari, same hull you're looking at, with a cabin, for about 7 years, 20-40 miles offshore almost every trip. Its a fabulous riding hull into seas and I don't remember any problems with following seas. It did not particularly like quartering into a step chop(no tabs). Mine was fairly wet, but considering we generally were about a thousand pounds over rated capacity, it seemed pretty reasonable to me. |

As far as Bayliners go, there are plenty to be had. The problem is that they tend to have very "wet" hulls, but this should be expected given where they are generally found - lining the bay! :D :D :D :D :D |
