I gave up on paying $$$$$$ in taxes in new hampshire to reg the boat for 2 months of use if were luckly.. Its all reg in area 442 in fla.

It was $35 for my MA here in NH. And the law only applies to boating in NH. Which is mostly a pointless exercise with a boat like these.

its cost me about $150 just to register the boat and i have yet to register the trailer.

My cuz "riverrat" dropped a whopping $12.00
for a two year registration here in Florida.
He still uses the boat in NH.

You can legally register your boats and vehicles
in any state you want , for now!

Yes Sir Mr. Ken.....you just gotta love the "antique vessel" registration for the 30+ year boats in FL. Only $6 a year. So that means if 30 years is $6 for my SeaCraft, at my age I should be registered at $3/year. :rolleyes:

Finally got to take it out today for about 2 hrs and everything was fine. The boat topped out at 40 @6100rpm. And for the little time that I was at the ramp 2 different guys recognized it as a SeaCraft and were impressed with it and it made me proud :D . I can think of very few boats that you can recognize right away without a name.

Getting that engine over 6000 could be detrimental to its health so you may want to change props. My father had the Evinrude version of that engine on his '82 Sceptre and would hit 40 at 5800 trimmed out. I had your engine on my 23' Seabird CC and ran similar speeds at 5800rpm as well.
