Croc's Rock!!! Except they leave skid marks on the deck of our "blow Boat" LOL, No pony tail, but Renee has one hehe WE have had the Savage out to the Sandbar a few times but its way too crowded and the water is Pee.
We have since moved to the NW side of Anclote near the palms and hang there on occasion. Much porettier water and less peeps, May be a while for the Savage as I want to do alot of work to make her pretty, and we abused her pretty good in Isla, and need to get the Funky Bait and lobster smell out of her. She ran great though the keyway pin on the water pump sheared off on day 1 so I had to do a tear down on the boat ramp at the resort. Ez fizx though. WE took an incredible 2 week trip on our old monohaul, down to Key west and stayed for 6 days. We loved it so much we had to get a newer Bigger Sailboat. We ended up purchasing a Endeavour Sail Catamaran. Love it,2 bed rooms, e w a queen size bed, huge kitchen, bathroom, 3 person seperate shower ;) etc. Our dream is to be living at a marina in Islamorada or Marathon,(Or Carlas Back yard) :D with the Savage in the slip next door. Were thinking about 3-4 years away and counting.

Nothing like sleeping on a puffer. Yum! Cats may not get any love, but they are spacious below. Very.

Its funny how little love cats get until you go on one. True you dont have that "Romantic" sailing feel of heeled over and water rushing by, but when I look at the GPS and were moving along at 7knts in 15knts of wind, and most mono's are doing 4-5 and their drinks are slipping off the tables, etc, and ours are nice and steady even the nasty stuff, whats not too love? Plus with almost a 15' beam, it gives our trolling rods really good placement apart :D, and we love to fish while sailing.
We dont have to reef until over 20kts of wind, and can go up on almost any beach w/ out worry. Our old Mono even w a shoal draft we carved our initials into the bottom everywhere. As for our dream, we'll still be working, I can live anywhere and do my job as long as we have an airport within a few hours,

Everyone should sail an old Hobie just once, or repeatedly.

Some of my old puffer friends used to think I was nuts when I came by loaded to fish the day. This is a sailboat.

Blah blah blah.

33# African Pompano fed 18 puffers. Janie bought a 4/0 after she got spooled by a sail. A sail spooled a sailor. Pun intended and please accept my apology.

I think it may be the stealth, but puffers land fish.

Cheers,
Us
