Yeah, I know what you mean. That's one big a$$ hole saw. However like you all said, it's an easy install and they work great at any speed!! Plus....NO spray from a transom mount, never in the way, no wires over the transom, etc.

you will be in deep water - I don't think I would do a shoot thru - my transom works good but a real thru hull is best

the motor is not running right so i barely made it out of the channel. sorry i have nothing to report of the ducers.

Go Airmar thru-hull and don't look back! High pucker factor drilling the hole but then you're done.

I have the Airmar on the way so I have been laying on the ground looking for a good spot to drill when it gets here.
