well, I guess My 25 was built before Nov 1 1972..

from the Ga dnr web site:
All boats manufactured or imported on or after November 1, 1972, must bear a HIN, and this HIN must be identified during the boat registration process. Vessels manufactured or imported before 1972 are EXEMPT because they often do not have a HIN.

my 25's HIN numbers from the Fl title are not the standard 11 digit like most boats have either, any way to find out the manufacture date on the # 15 boat built in 72?

Use an old school plastic label maker, the kind that punches out a hard plastic strip with adhesive on the back. Then rub that. I have never done it, but heard it works well! ;)

Same with mine. It still has the foil manufacturer's decal in the cockpit, but the serial number on the decal doesn't follow the HIN format.
