It's been a great season with the "new" version of this boat. Like a lot of guys on here, my boat's had a long successful life, and I hope she lasts another 30+ years in her new form. Also like a lot of guys up here, it was a frustrating year for tuna, but we had a few solid days and nights bass fishing and it was great to get out to Stellwagen a handful of times and the Sword with confidence. Fished a few ugly days offshore and got everything I expected out of the boat. Got down the cape and over to OB a couple times, had a bunch of fun sand bar and raft up days with the wife and friends, and really got everything I'd hoped out of the season... except a tuna! Hoping to get out a couple more times and chase some bass before putting her away for the long winter. Hope everyone enjoyed/is enjoying their boating season as much as I have. Cheers guys.

It would be awesome if you could post the dimensions for the doghouse. I'll be building one soon for my formula 233 project. Won't be as Gucci as aluminum but yours is the exact look i had in my head

Iseaboats, it came out of the factory like that in 1978. It's called a Savage, and as I understand it, it's the liner and cap from the Sceptre with no windshield and a center console. According to the production list it's one of 16 built with a straight inboard.

Tugboat, I'll post dimensions in the next few days.

Boat is currently undergoing some additional minor surgery - insulating the in-deck fish box, removing the glove boxes from the top of the cabin, sanding and 2-parting teak trim, and planning on pulling up the aft deck this weekend, checking some wiring, replacing senders and re-rigging livewell drain. Will post pics.

Removed glove boxes - 36 year old plywood was in good shape

Layer of woven and first round of fairing - also removed part of hand rail and sanded teak trim. Foil was to help curing process, had to keep halogen light on for a while because the weather up here has sucked a you know what. Cabin hatch I made last year from 1/2" fiberglass board, painted with Interlux Perfection. Applying non skid to it once the other surfaces are ready for finish coat.

Partially glassed in - hole allows access to water pump, will cover with access hatch. Sanded about a 3" piece of the bottom/aft foam piece to assist drainage - will install through hull to macerator pump.

For those who asked, here are the dimensions of my doghouse:

Footprint: 48" fore to aft, 40" wide
Height: 86" from deck to edge of lid, slightly higher in middle due to camber

Aft angle starts 34" from deck (tape just shows angle, numbers irrelevant):

I did not measure angles, but you can estimate from the pics. The forward windshield angle is slightly greater than the aft angle. Also, the lower part of the forward bulkhead is angled slightly aft to serve as a more comfortable backrest.

Forward seat is is 20" off the deck, 48" wide and 14" deep:

Dash is roughly 38" wide has 3 angles. Lower dash (storage, gauge panel, wheel, tabs and shifters) has maybe a 30 degree pitch and is roughly 18.5" x 38". Middle part (electronics box) is steeper, maybe 70 degrees and is about 12" x 38". Top (compass) is nearly flat and is about 7" deep x 38". Tubes in corners are wire runs:

The side windows follow the fore and aft angles of the house and are about 30" tall. Front window is 30" tall x 31" wide.

Lid is 60" wide by 88". Underside has starboard liner and wire runs for antennae and lights:
