Thanks for heads up on trailer place!
-Fred |
Hey Fred, Jason Peterson has built my last two trailers. My SeaCraft trailer is 7 years old and just for the heck of it I replaced the springs a month or so ago. Did not really need it, just felt better cause I pull it long distances. He does not build trailers with springs anymore, torsion axles only and he uses SS bolts. When the time comes he's a really good option, I live close to his shop so if you need some help let me know. Seeya

SeaCraft hulls are thankfully stiff as hell because of the big glass stringers and heavy layup, but Don's right, supporting it like that is a good way to put a hook in the hull! Until you get a bigger trailer, I'd make sure the motor weight is resting on the skeg; maybe even put some jack stands or wood blocks under the transom when not in use! BTW, didn't you have a Scepter with twin I/O's? Did you trade it for this one? I can't keep up with all your boat trades! Denny |
Hey Denny..
first 23' that I can actually use. I will support motor...and use my jack stands...looking into a trailer now. The 23 with twin i/o's was sold a while back -Fred |
