I've been eyeing that boat all week! Its only about 15 minutes away. If I had a spot to put the darn thing I would definetly buy it. Looks like a great boat at a good price. But damn what a project.

Here's a 23' hardtop with a flybridge with twin I/O's I can't imagine that structure sitting on top of my Tsunami. It has to be top heavy.

Even with the weight of the twins, she's gonna roll a bit with 1 person up top. Probably roll a lot with 2 up there. She's only got 8 feet of beam. I recall being on a guy's 25' Old Town Atlantis I/O a few years ago (yup, they made FG boats for a little while in the early 70s). The previous owner put a small tower on her, no higher than the bridge on this Sceptre, and she rolled a lot with 2 of us up there at headway speed. Granted, the OT had 24 degrees of deadrise, but was only 8 1/2 feet wide.

Ok since it's a little far for me to run up there ,I'm in the middle of doing a 23cc down here not to mention I have no room to put it - or. afford another boat ! ONE of you will have to pick this one up restore it and let us know how it goes!!!!
