That is my friend Phil's 20' Sceptre. He wanted a 23' Sceptre but it was too much $$ for him at the time (in the 1970's). He now has two 23' ers. A Sceptre and a Savage.

Yes, that was my old 74 Scepter in Georgetown, SC. Fished 7 years out of the boat and 65hp Johnson's never missed a beat. One of those antennas was a CB. More people talked on CB offshore than on VHF's. Navigation was a compass, flasher depth finder and a Radio Direction Finder (RDF). Just tune in the local AM radio and it would point toward the station. That is the way the Japanese tuned in Pearl Harbor.

Miss the old boat but I found it up on Lake Murray, SC several years ago. It is now green but as sharp as ever.

I think those 7 years are part of my 65 year old back problems today. But what the H**L, you are young only once.
