I'm familiar with Blacks Island. If that looks cleaned out, I'll look farther south and west.

triangular, shiny shell, pattern looks like a sunrise, 4-6 inches long, eat good, lips are a little green, but not distinctive.

Native to the southeastern Atlantic and Gulf coast. Also a relatively new aquaculture species being grown around Sanibel.

Not what I found but will keep an eye or shoe out. The ones I sat on were creamy white and tan with pale green lips.

Yes green lips or really eyes... We have the ones tat look like the large atlantic scallops.. They remind me of a fan.. Blue heron i have not seen those before.. .Very nice catch..
We got some more this sunday..the wether was nice and the water was not as bad as anticipated from all the rain..

Hey Ken,

That place looks like a great place to bring together about 10 to 15 SeaCrafts for a weekend of fun and frolic !!! Hint...hint....:)
