Mine is a GP-32 and it is now just a back up for my big Garmin plotters that do all the heavy lifting. The 32 is a good TD reference when working old loran #s so she still keeps her place on the dash for now.

Got out today to configure and test the unit. All I can say it that it is amazing how far autopilots have come. I would have never expected it to handle a small boat so well in challenging seas. If any of you are considering one, don't even hesitate. The shadow drive feature on this unit is a game changer and allows you to drive when you need to and seamlessly return to auto heading or waypoint nav. The search patterns are another bonus for those of us that are constantly on the hunt for new bottom or searching old loran #s. Tracking back is a breeze and you can even set a route in your plotter and have it nav through multiple turns to a destination. I'm only kicking myself for waiting so long to buy one.
